Ride the London Dungeon’s Death Express this halloween

As halloween approches you may be looking for a spooky way to spend your evening and London is full of them from ghost walks to film screenings, but one of Londons scariest halloween activites is train based. No dont worry its not another southern rail strike but The London Dungeon’s scary sounding death express.

The self proclaimed “home of halloween” will be opening its doors to bring visitors the historic tale of the Necropolis railway. Opening in 1854 and running until 1941 the tracks of the death railway ran bewtween waterloo and Brookwood cemetery in surrey carrying passengers both dead and alive ! The railway was set up to deal with the numbers of dead London’s growing population and disease outbreaks was having to deal with.

the frightful halloween experiance will also tell some of londons most famous stories from Jack the ripper to the great fire. This is a scary treat not to missed.

The Death Express runs at The London Dungeon untill the 6th of november                                                                 tickets start at £21 pp book ahead to avoid disappointment.
