Today was fairly smooth considering I had gotten into a routine in terms of social media planning and scheduling. When I got in I planned the posts I wanted to share on each of the platforms and started to take photos of the briefing, behind the scenes in the studio and anything else I thought would look great on our channels. Then I just released them throughout the news day. I worked closely with James and other reporters to post sneak previews that were relevant to the day. I also kept close contact with web editors to have the stories on the website ready to post on our social media channels and schedule them throughout the days we don’t have news days.
