What better to do in South Bank when in need of a feel-good festival? Come down to the Underbelly Festival. A fascinating array of entertaining shows to go side-by-side with cute bars and tasty food. Something for the whole family.
I was pleasantly surprised as I was walking along South Bank and was instantly drawn to the typography of the event, which matched the explosion of colour which catapulted onto the page.
Eye-catching displays, nostalgic music from the 90’s and friendly security demonstrate the chilled-out vibe, which I was engulfed in during my time at the Underbelly festival. After catching up with a Burger Bar employee, Elizabeth, she informed me that the “best time to come is at seven” as well as “most customers are postgraduates”.
The summer festival began on April 28, 2017 then concludes on September 30, 2017. Shows diversify from Circus; Comedy; Variety, Family & Cabaret. Tickets range from £12.50 to £25.00 ensuring you view high-quality entertainment for a low-value price. The Underbelly festival is a stunning addition to an already stacked South Bank, meaning there is an endless supply of ways to keep entertained.
