A car crashed after failing to stop for police in Southwark park

In the early morning of 21st November, a car smashed into the railings of Southwark Park after its driver failed to stop for police.

Before smashing into the railings of the park, the car collided with a white minicab as well on Jamaica Road close to the Rotherhithe Tunnel. As it is written in the website of Southwark News, a witness told the website that he believed the occupants of the white minicab were not injured and a police spokesperson told them that the motorist fled from the scene on foot.

However, no one was reported injured in the smash and the police don’t have further informations and their enquiries are continuing.
