After the 17-years.old Malcolm Mide-Madariola a local guy from Peckham was killed in Clapham South the 2ndof November and recently and 16 years-old buy (Name still unknown) was killed in a fatal stabbing crim in Tulse Hill, the council is having a meeting to make the borough more secure and to hopefully find a solution in ending all of this.
Cllr Evelyn Akoto, cabinet member for community Safety and Public Health says to Southwark News: “The ‘Knife Crime Review’ was the result of a ‘scrutiny in a day’ as part of the Council’s Overview and Scrutiny function.
They also spoke about having some sort of solution on all this knife crime, and one of them it is Young Advisors held a Youth Voice Summit where it is young people all over the borough to speak to the council and to find a solution on the problem.
