Mel B has now confirmed on ITV’s Loose Women that fans will get the chance to snap up tickets on Friday to see the girl-band perform live next year. She told the panel “We’ve known for like five, six months now, it’s all, the wheels are in motion, tickets go on sale on Friday. Pressure is on now, hopefully you’re going to buy some tickets.”
Victoria Beckham has opted not to join the tour and instead focus on her fashion business but Mel B is still hopeful she’ll make an appearance on the tour at some point, adding “It’s just the four of us, but she might join us at some point. I hope so. I think it would be a shame if she didn’t.”
The tour is believed to be put together by Modest Management, the company behind One Direction, and the group’s original manager Simon Fuller.
The Spice Girls shot to fame in 1996 with their hit song ‘Wannabe’, which went on to top charts in 37 countries. Since splitting, the five women behind iconic songs such like ‘Spice Up Your Life’, have all gone on to form successful business ventures.
The group last performed as a fivesome at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games.
