As awards season came to a close at the 93rd Oscars award ceremony, history was made for womankind. 

Chloé Zhao became the first Asian woman and the second female to ever win the prestige Academy Award for Best Director for her incredible film, Nomadland.

Zhao became the winner of the biggest achievement for directing as her film Nomadland stole the heart of the Academy last night at the 93rd year of the Oscars.

The exclusive guestlist included many talented women and to honour Chloé Zhao’s win, here are the ten best-dressed women from last night…

In first place we obviously have Zendaya, who was dressed in a vibrant lemon silk floor length gown, custom made by Valentino for the event.

In second place, The Promising Young Woman star, Carey Mulligan, wore a glittering gold Pierpaolo Piccioli’s Valentino gown to the event.

Thirdly, Amanda Seyfried stole hearts in crimson Armani Prive petal shaped dress.

Coming up fourth, Margot Robbie flaunted her fresh new fringe look in a matching silver Chanel ensemble.

Fifth, Regina King stole the show in a Louis Vuitton in a Cinderella blue butterfly silhouette.

Seventh place goes to star of The Crown and Pieces of a Woman, Vanessa Kirby looked stunning in a simple blush Gucci gown and was glittered in Cartier Jewelry.

In eighth, Olivia Colman stole The Crown in matching Christian Dior, in a bright red high-neck dress and heels ensemble.

Our ninth best-dressed, Halle Berry wore a deep plunge neck Dolce & Gabbana number to the carpet.
