Work experience

My work experience at the South London Press started the 8th of November. I am having the opportunity to work with Toby Porter. He is the News Editor and chief reporter at the SLP.

Every Friday I go to the office and get some press releases from Toby. This work experience will end before the Christmas break. I would love to carry on going, as Toby is very helpful and present.

He guided me in so many different things, such as for example: writing attractive introductions and choosing wisely my sources for news.

The office is cozy and the staff is amazing.My job is to produce articles from the press releases. But, most important I get a face to face feedback from Toby.

I feel much more confident about my writing skills. Surprisingly, one of my article was published on the newspaper.

I was very happy when David told me that he was going to publish it. My name is on the page and it is very satisfying.

Hopefully, I will learn more stuff and more of my articles will be on the SLP newspaper.
