Higher ranking for a London University

A University in London peaks in The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2020 after being entered in the top 100 for the first time.

According to the Good University Guide 2020 London South Bank University has claimed the 86th spot on the national league table.

They are competing against 134 universities which consists of their top competitors, University of East London, Westminster and Middlesex.

Vice-Chancellor of LSBU David Phoenix said, “LSBU continues to challenge the UK’s most prestigious higher education institutions, proving that our high quality teaching and research is helping to turn out top class graduates”.

Along with being in the top 100 LSBU has won University of the Year for Graduate Employment for the second year running with a 4.7% surge in applications this year.

LSBU are also competing against University of St Andrews which was placed third in the rankings along with having a 96.3% completion rate and  89.8% for firsts.

St Andrews Principle Professor Sally Mapstone said, “Not only is it an endorsement of what makes St Andrews special, it reflects the hard work of everyone who engages in and supports the high standard of teaching and research here”.
