Education 

I have completed my studies at King Edward VI Five Ways Grammar School in Birmingham. During my time I obtained 11 GCSE’s, 1 A.S level and 3 A levels in Politics, History and Law. 

I am currently studying Journalism at London South Bank University. 

 Work History  

Gallow Glass Crewman from May 2017 to September 2017- Worked as a part of small teams. I frequently had to commute long distances to work in the early hours of the morning. As a result of this I am punctual and am used to manual work.    

Curzon Cinema Assistant – Worked part time, serving drinks and popcorn. Gained excellent customer service skills. I am trustworthy and very reliable when faced with difficult customers. 

Personal Assistant at Global 3 Energy Solutions- Handled small day to day office tasks such as printing, photocopying and keeping a calendar up to date. Also took a lead role in submitting the annual tax assessment on multiple occasions.   

Showforce UK- Crewmember from June 2019 to present, manual work loading and unloading lorries, rigging and deriving at festivals

Skills and Achievements 

I have: 

  • I spent two months in Cape Town as part of an exchange program developing lifelong relationships across the globe. 
  • A pass in my Bronze D of E expedition, which helped with my general management as well as team work and coping with challenge. 
  • 1st XV rugby Captain during sixth form, I am an experienced leader and can delegate well, used to working with others. 
  • I am able to speak and write Spanish to GCSE level which I have enjoyed learning. 
  • Proficient computer literacy proven through work experience in school. 

 

Interests 

I spent a lot of time reading autobiographies a few I have read are David Beckham’s, Alex Ferguson’s and I am currently reading Michael Heseltine’s.  

I enjoy watching and playing most sports and have played representative rugby, cricket and track and field. I also play for my university basketball team.  

I am a competitive chess player taking up this skill whilst in year 11 at school.  

I also enjoy cooking; being of mixed heritage means I have tried a lot of African and West Indian foods resulting in an interest into food culture in general.
