Congo Needs Us!

The Democratic Republic of Congo is one of the world’s richest countries on earth with the world’s largest reserves of coltan and a significant amount of cobalt. But due to colonisation it has become one of the poorest. Coltan is extracted from Congo used by the western countries to make the electronic devices we use today. Congo is currently going through a silent Holocaust. A genocide has struck the Democratic Republic of Congo (Kinshasa) leaving millions of people killed over Congo’s natural resources (coltan).

The western countries such as the UK and USA are funding countries such as Rwanda and Uganda to invade Congo for their resources leaving many innocent people killed.

This is an ongoing crisis which now needs to come to an end. Congo is in need of us, let’s all work together by sharing the words and help raise awareness! Let’s all help stop the military from killing the innocent.
