London College of Fashion: Live Blog runway

This week London College of Fashion hosted their fashion students runway show.

The build up to the show was an unlit runway crowded full of anticipation. Then suddenly middle eastern vibes took over the room as, Lebanese singer, Nancy Ajram set the mood with electric passion.

7:09 The show started with a Persian rug inspired shredded ansambel following a similar colour scheme with accents of grey and blue.

7:11 The following collection consisted of monochrome, loitered with pvc trousers and sky high structured shoulders.

4:14 The fury of floral has made a fluorescent comeback with accents of khaki and patchwork.

7:15 Runways worst nightmare! The shoe fell and she didn’t care to put it back on, Carried in hand, it is not a bag!

7:18 Cobalt has wings, tailored gypsy fashion 2018 #wearebringingbohoback

7:19 Not your typical flame, an orange ruffled dress surely caught everyone’s attention after a  semi dull yet neutral pallet.

7:21 A lady on the front row had dropped all  her papers on runway! But luckily picked them up, didn’t want another model malfunction. I think a handbook should be part of every front row package #frontrowetiquette

7:24 The not so conventional mini dress with abstract scarf

7:25 Balmain inspired embellished blazer with pvc stockings, dreams do come true… For a Kardashian.

7:28 Nip slip on the runway, gracefully obvious.

7:29 Fuchsia mermaid scale inspire two piece with distressed tail, similar inspired pieces following with untraditional colour scheme accents of foil and ruffles

7:30 The showstopper fur cube lined coat along with futuristic laser cut geo pattern.

7:31 The show ended with all fashion students gathering then exiting in a modest fashion

Though the show aired in the UK, it surely made it’s way round the globe pretty swiftly, starting in the Middle East.

A fantastic show full of edge, youth and potential. The fashion designers of tomorrow look promising and completely fearless.
